Ms. Grossman has been at the forefront of pursuing recovery on behalf of Holocaust survivors against Holocaust-era insurance companies. Additionally, she is involved in recovering on life insurance policies sold to Armenians who perished in the Genocide.
She regularly works with senior citizens on a variety of insurance disputes including those related to annuity insurance, life insurance and homeowner's insurance.
Ms. Grossman has represented policyholders in coverage disputes arising out of water damage, earthquakes, fires, errors and omissions claims and business interruption losses. A particular focus of her practice has been litigating more than 1,000 claims arising out of the Northridge earthquake. Ms. Grossman has substantial expertise in construction defects, having worked extensively with architects, soil engineers, structural engineers and contractors.
A native of Claremont, Ms. Grossman received her B.A. degree, cum laude, from Occidental College in 1989 and her J.D. from Santa Clara Law School in 1994. Prior to joining the firm in 1993 as a law clerk, Ms. Grossman studied tort law at Magdalen College in Oxford, England.
